ANWB toll badge vs Fulli: which one fits your trip?

The ANWB toll badge (technically a Maut1 badge) and Fulli (by France's Sanef) are both electronic toll badges for southern Europe. Both cover France, Spain and Portugal; Fulli Nomade+ adds Italy too. The real difference is the fee structure: ANWB charges 5% on top of the toll with no monthly fee, while Fulli charges no mark-up but a small amount in months you drive.

What's the same

Both badges stick to your windscreen, let you pass the t-lane without stopping, and bill tolls afterwards. Both work on every French autoroute as well as in Spain and Portugal.

FAQ

Which is cheaper: ANWB or Fulli?
It depends on your annual toll spend. Fulli adds no mark-up on the toll, but charges ≈ €1.70-1.90 per month you drive. ANWB adds 5% on top of every toll with no monthly fee. For frequent trips with high toll amounts, Fulli is usually cheaper; for a few short trips, ANWB can work out better.
Does Fulli also work in Spain and Portugal?
Yes. Fulli Nomade covers France, Spain and Portugal; Fulli Nomade+ adds Italy. The older assumption that Fulli is 'France only' no longer holds — Sanef has expanded coverage.
Does Fulli charge a transaction fee on the toll?
No. Fulli charges 0% mark-up on the toll itself; you pay only the official toll price plus any monthly management fee. ANWB × Maut1 does charge 5% on top of every toll.
Does Fulli work on the Blankenburgverbinding in the Netherlands?
No. The Blankenburgverbinding (A24) accepts the Maut1 family (including ANWB), not Fulli.
